PLEASE NOTE: this page doesn't appear in the list of pages any more. Basically it didn't meet the ambitions I had for it. Probably it was too complicated for anarchists, and too anarchist for gamers. I'm planning on coming up with a similar new project. For now, the files are still here to be downloaded if you want them.

Welcome to the website of Anarchy - a card game for two or more players. This game is designed to be similar to collectable card games like Magic: the Gathering and Vampire: the Eternal Struggle. However unlike these games, Anarchy is completely free. To play the game you need to download three files. The only other equipment you will need is at least one, preferably two dice.
Rules (Word doc - 82k)
cards (pdf file - 2.69M)
statistics sheet (Word doc - 34.5k)
All three files (zip file - 2.65M)
The cards file needs the free Acrobat Reader.
This is the 3rd edition of the game, uploaded on August 20th 2004.

Please email any questions about the rules, ideas for new cards, or any other feedback that you think might improve the game.

Thanks to everyone who has already given feedback.
You are welcome to distribute Anarchy in any way that doesn't involve payment, without having to get permission from me. For any use that does involve payment you will need to get permission.
Please note, the 'Workplace Group' card has no text under the picture - this is not a mistake.
Thanks to Noam Chomsky and Chumbawamba for giving permission to use them as cards.

Thanks to Katie Burchart, Ben Hutchings and Eric Drooker for their artwork.
