This is a clever Flash animation I found on the web. It pretends to be able to read your mind and tell you what symbol you've picked. The first time you do it you'll probably think "it's one of those things where you add 20 and divide by 2 and add the number you first thought of, and it always ends up with the same answer". But then you'll pick a different symbol and it still works - and most likely you'll come up with all kinds of explanations which are much less likely than the actual one.
 
This is quite relevant to a lot of supposedly supernatural happenings - a lot of the time it 'feels' like there's no logical explanation, but that doesn't mean there isn't one...
